Day by day
Day 1 — Colombo to the Cultural Triangle
Early departure from Colombo toward Sigiriya. Afternoon climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, timed to avoid peak midday heat. Overnight near Dambulla or Habarana.
Day 2 — Cave temples and the road to Kandy
Morning visit to the Dambulla Cave Temples before the drive to Kandy. Afternoon at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, evening free to explore Kandy Lake.
Day 3 — Kandy and return
Optional morning at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, before the drive back to Colombo or on to your next stop.
